1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all deliveries by HeinzKnives to consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for a purpose that can be attributed predominantly neither to their commercial nor to their self-employed professional activity.
2. Contracting Parties
The purchase contract is concluded with HeinzKnives, Owner: Stephan Heinz, Am Hang 11, 56459 Pottum
3. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but only an invitation to order.
By clicking the button [Buy/Order for a fee], you place a binding order for the goods listed on the order page.
Your purchase contract is concluded if we accept your order by sending an order confirmation by email immediately after receiving your order.
4. Right of Withdrawal
Withdrawal Policy
Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without stating any reasons.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (HeinzKnives, Am Hang 11, 56459 Pottum, Email: scharfemesser@heinzknives.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), immediately and in any event within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notice of your withdrawal from this contract.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any event within fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.
The goods must be undamaged and show no signs of use. In the event of any deviations, we reserve the right to calculate the loss in value of the goods.
Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Personalized Products
Pursuant to Section 312g (2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the supply of goods,
-
that are not pre-fabricated and
-
for whose manufacture an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or
-
that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
This particularly applies to knives that are individually made to the customer's specifications – for example, by a personalized engraving (e.g. name, initials or logo) or by a custom-designed handle (e.g. choice of material, shape, color or finish).
Such products are excluded from the right of withdrawal and can therefore not be returned or exchanged.
5. Prices and Shipping Costs
The prices stated on the product pages include statutory VAT and other price components.
For orders with a value of 100.00 euros or more, delivery within Germany is free of shipping costs.
For orders with a value of less than 100.00 euros, we charge a flat rate of 6.90 euros per order in addition to the stated prices for delivery within Germany.
6. Delivery
Delivery is only made within Germany.
The delivery time is up to 10 days. If we are unable to meet the delivery time for reasons beyond our control (e.g. force majeure, delays by logistics service providers), we will inform you immediately.
7. Payment
Payment can be made by advance payment or by cash on collection.
If you select advance payment, we will provide our bank details in the order confirmation and deliver the goods after receipt of payment.
8. Retention of Title
Until full payment has been received, the goods remain our property.
9. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission has established an online dispute resolution platform. This platform serves as a contact point for the out-of-court settlement of disputes arising from online purchase contracts. You can find the platform at the following link:

We are not obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board, but we are willing to do so.
